Splay and Lærerstudentene brought me in to help turn an idea for a podcast into a format. Together, we developed Lærerlysten — a show that takes topics from teacher education and brings them down to a human level through conversations with well-known guests about their own experiences of school.

NORDIC CRIMES

TRUE CRIME · PODCAST · TALLTALE

Swedish production company TallTale commissioned me to produce four Norwegian episodes of Nordic Crimes, each covering a murder case from a different decade. I chose the cases and developed the narrative approach for each story.

I researched the cases, sourced and interviewed contributors, wrote the scripts, cast and directed voice actors, recorded the audio, selected the music, created the sound design and atmosphere, and mixed each episode. I recorded a guide narration during production, which TallTale replaced with the series' English-language narrator for the final release.

LETT Å HATE

NRK · DOCUMENTARY · RESEARCH

I worked on the research and case-finding for Lett å hate, a three-part NRK documentary series in which presenter Noman Mubashir explores what it means to be hated — and whether it is possible to hate less.

My role was to research the themes and find the people and stories that could bring them to life on screen, across subjects including hate crime, online abuse, religion, sexuality and extremism.

EUROVISION

I helped develop and produce a seven-hour live Eurovision broadcast for NRK, working across format development, editorial planning and guest booking.

The broadcast combined original live entertainment — including interviews, competitions and specially produced segments — with live commentary of the Eurovision Song Contest. Parts of the broadcast were also streamed live on NRK.no.
